Revenue Manager India & South Asia, R&F-GBU Revenues LATAM & AMEA

 

Purpose

 

The Revenue India & South Asia will be managing the S-P revenues of renewable, battery, thermal projects, and combinations thereof. 

 

Reports to

 

VP Revenues LATAM + AMEA (Brazil, Peru, Chile, Mexico & Puerto Rico, Australia, GCC & Africa, India & South Asia)

Essential Job Functions 

 

  • Maximize the India & South Asia asset portfolio revenues
  • Develop, and implement revenue maximization strategies for merchant and non-merchant activities
  • Identifying market opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

 

  • Accountable for S-P of assets

 

  • Provide market inputs that drive the business development processes and customer driven price expectations.

 

  • Drive the implementation of new product offering such as, but not limited to, 24/7 products in coloration with SEM.

 

  • Develop the revenue budget with Finance, Asset management and Partnerships.

 

  • Map risks, co-design risk mandate (CRME, GREM) and implement risk mgmt.

 

  • Track financial performance (daily S-P and risk KPIs)

 

  • Monitor, challenge and propose new power plant optimisation strategies
  • Manage the interface with SEM (including contracts relationship)
  • Ensure that all merchant revenue streams are optimized, portfolio opportunities are captured and monitors the seamless execution of market and commercial strategies with Energy Management, Retail or B2B entities in India & South Asia and in good intelligence with the SEM Portfolio Officer.

 

  • Decide together with MDs of the countries Hedging and commercial strategies.
  • Track local regulatory & market developments and opportunities for power plants

 

  • Contribute to local long term power plant valuation, mainly for RES & BESS

 

Requirements

 

  • Deep expertise in the energy industry, risk management including experience with energy markets, offtake agreements, investments, power marketing, and product structuring.

 

  • Outstanding analytical skills, proven experience working with advanced valuation and market models.

 

  • Thorough understanding of the India & South Asia markets and the renewable and battery asset specificities, ability to translate their exposures and flexibilities into a technical and economical model.

 

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, ability to explain the risks and opportunities of complex structures to leadership.

 

  • Strong networker, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.

 

  • Capability to both dive in analytical details as to synthesize and draw trends and correlations with a holistic and pragmatic hands-on mindset

 

  • Willing to digitalize and structure data management to the benefit of others

 

  • Awareness of the cost-effectiveness and profitability need of the business.

 

  • Higher education, preferably a university degree in a quantitative area (IT, finance, engineering, mathematics, economics) or alternatively, an appropriate on-field experience.

 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

 

  • Some years of relevant experience. Any relevant experience in the energy industry will be appreciated but not required.

 

Requirements

  • MBA with 8 - 15 years releavant experience & thorough understanding of the India & South Asia Markets and the Renewable and Battery Asset specificities, ability to translate their exposures and flexibilities into a technical and economical model.
