Key activities and competencies
- Closure of Accounts: Ensure timely and accurate closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual in line account with Indian Accounting Standards & IFRS.
- Invoice Management: Keep supplier and customer invoices up to date in the books of legal entities.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze complex financial reports and produce compliant financial statements.
- Report Preparation: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analyses, bank reconciliations, vendor and customer reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for annual audits and respond to internal and external auditor inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with the company’s financial policies, rules, and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
- Budget Preparation: Support in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
- ERP Implementation: Undertake activities assigned to the Accounting Team for the SAP B1 Engie or other new ERP implementation.
- Tax Compliance

- External: Suppliers, customers, external auditors.
Required Qualifications
- Degree: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience: More than 2 years of general accounting & Tax Compliance experience, preferably in a Big4 public accounting firm or a multinational corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS, SAP -B1 software.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
