What You Can Expect
As a Power Marketing Analyst I, you will serve as a key support member of the Power Marketing team within ENGIE Energy Marketing, North America. In this role, you will contribute to commercial offtake and project marketing efforts for ENGIE’s portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects. You will assist in identifying and analyzing business opportunities and RFPs, actively participate in go/no-go decisions, and help lead and coordinate ENGIE’s proposal development in response to RFPs. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position is based in Chicago, IL, and reports to the Vice President of Power Marketing.
•Manage FP proposal process in response to a high-volume of simultaneous RFPs to utility and commercial customers as well as working cross-functionally with teams in support of the bids & strategy
•Manage and continually update ENGIE CRM for opportunities
•Creation and maintenance of ENGIE proposals and external marketing materials provided to customers
•Develop and maintain, with other groups, commercial and competitive intelligence
•Remain updated of renewable energy opportunities in North America and the national industry trends impacting the future of renewable development opportunities
What You’ll Bring
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related technical or analytics-based field
Alternatively, we will consider candidates with at least three (3) years of relevant professional experience, during which you developed hands-on skills in data analysis, financial modeling, market research, or similar analytical functions
This is an entry-level position, and prior experience is not required. However, you will be expected to deliver high-quality support. Your ability to work with complex data, extract actionable insights, and contribute to informed decision-making in a business or technical setting will be essential to your success in this role
You have strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, with keen attention to detail and solid organizational abilities.
You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and can effectively produce high-quality deliverables
You are knowledgeable in time management and consistently demonstrate reliable attendance and a self-starting attitude
You have the ability to operate with energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
You are a team player who collaborates well across departments and with external customers, always willing to support others
Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of a minimum three (3) days in the office at the Chicago,IL office
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $61,400– $94,070 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
