Position Mission: Responsible for leading the data processing activities of ENGIE’s Gas Commercialization entity. Create a structured plan that outlines how the operational areas will convey messages to the management in committees and business performance meetings. Foster the use and deployment of new technology on the daily basis activities among internal users aim to provide the management with accurate and promptly information.

 

Your Impact: As Portfolio Management Leader, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission by performing the following key functions:

  • Lead the automation of data processing for Gas Supply activities, collecting the data provided by function areas.
  • Create and develop strong and reliable data reports (dashboards too) for the operational areas that allow them to gather all the relevant information needed to follow up on daily basis the portfolio’s from a physical and financial view.
  • Create asset optimization models to simulate different scenarios to identify the most profitable asset allocation. Assessing the operational areas the best allocation of each asset. Ensuring proper data modeling, metadata management, and master data management (MDM) practices.
  • Lead and coordinate the operational areas to build powerful tools that allow the organization to analyze the portfolio’s risk profile, financial results, operational risk (physically and financially).
  • Lead the use and management of internal data software to keep them updated (customer’s records and operational data) to ensure the function areas to have reliable information to estimate the portfolio’s monthly/daily gas demand, as well as, all monthly financial information needed like outflows, incomes and revenues.
  • Responsible for preparing, designing, and delivering high-impact presentations to the different audiences like directors. This role shall ensures that complex business information is communicated clearly, concisely, and persuasively to support strategic decision-making.
  • Create a robust and automated Budget template to enable the responsible areas, to modify the budget accordingly to the assumptions the models are based on, follow up in monthly basis the business outcome that allow the management to explain any P&L deviation.

Requirements: To join our team as Portfolio Management Leader, we are looking for:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Actuary, Data Science or related. 7 years But a very good profile with less experience can be considered
  • Technical Skills:
  • Highly business performance oriented skills
  • Ability to present and summarize important information
  • Create data bases.
  • Advanced analytical and programming skills
  • Advanced knowledge in programming languages (STATA, R, PYTHON,MATLAB) is a +
  •  Advanced knowledge in data visualization tools (for example Power BI)
  • Analysis of numerical information for executive reports
  • Management of advanced Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the Mexican energy market is a +
