Performance Engineer I – Affirmative Position for Women

Your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency of our assets and on the internalization of wind turbine maintenance activities.

Your responsibilities
- Prepare performance reports for assets, considering the business rules of each generation source.
- Develop and automate performance analysis algorithms, ensuring integration with existing systems.
- Configure and maintain performance management systems, prospecting new technological solutions for the group.
- Coordinate the submission of periodic PERFORM reports and act as the focal point for performance-related demands from EBE and the group.
- Plan and execute communications with plants regarding detected anomalies and follow up on corrective actions.
- Evaluate new techniques for detecting performance issues based on academic research and market solutions.
- Work on data governance, documenting indicators and data flows to consolidate reliable information.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Automation Engineering. A postgraduate degree in Data Science is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and programming in Python, including libraries such as Streamlit and Plotly.
- Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, PI System (AVEVA), WindPRO, and databases.
- Solid understanding of wind power generation fundamentals, power curve analysis, and anomaly and derating detection.
- Intermediate English with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Spanish is desirable.
- Experience with Alstom and GE turbines, preferably Eco models, will be considered an important advantage.
- Analytical, proactive profile with strong communication skills and a focus on process improvement and automation.
