Reporting to the Regional Head of Marketing and Communications from the ENGIE Southeast Asia Regional Management Office based in Singapore, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to drive, manage, and deliver external/internal communications and marketing function in the Philippines.
He/She will be responsible for designing and executing an integrated marketing and communications program across multiple market units - taking charge in driving, supporting and advising on internal and external communications, including communications planning, speaking opportunities, events & sponsorships, marketing partnership to support business development, business merger & acquisitions support including JVs and partnerships, communications channels selection & media monitoring, budgeting & expenditure, and report management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning - Develop the local integrated marketing and communications work plan (or initiatives) with measurement matrix by collaborating with multiple stakeholders including the regional office, local management, local business development team and other local department heads. Liaise with Regional Management Office based in Singapore to leverage support, collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Marketing – Drive, manage and support all marketing initiatives including but not limited to events, conventions, exhibitions, forums, clients’ appreciations to workshops/webinars. Manage relevant business events, attend as the company representative in gathering marketing intelligence and cascade the information to management in a timely manner.
- Internal/External Communications – Drive, manage and support all communications initiatives across multiple-channels (traditional/digital). Some examples including but not limited to speeches, business articles, thought leaderships, bulletins, newsletters, EDMs, social media post to strengthen ENGIE’s position in the ecosystem.
- Budgeting - Create and manage the local marketing & communications budget.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- At least five years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include speech writing, public speaking, pitching and presentations.
- Has sufficient skills in strategic corporate communications planning and creative communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Good at research and data validation.
- Knowledgeable in data gathering and data analysis of target market and stakeholders’ engagement in marketing and communications initiatives.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented and goal-getter with focused determination and commitment.
- Conscientious, proactive, team player, time management and adaptive to cultural diversity and inclusivity.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
