Within the ENGIE Group, the Renewables Global Business Unit (R-GBU) develops, finances, builds and operate solar, wind and hydropower assets worldwide; R-GBU installed capacity tops 38 GW end 2022 and ambitions reaching 80 GW in 2030. R-GBU relies on a network of local entities worldwide organized by regions and having historically a strong autonomy.
In this growth context, R-GBU is gearing up to industrialize its project management practices through a series of cross-entity initiatives. One core objective is the equip the project delivery teams with a project management platform during construction phase, and in parallel to contribute to the industrialization strategy by embedding in the platform standard ways of working, uniform concepts and shared operational best practices.
R-GBU is currently using the PROCORE software on its NORAM perimeter, and is expanding its use worldwide to all its entities in a phased approach. For this, R-GBU is looking for a Global Procore Functional Specialist who will be integrated in the core team along with a Product Owner and an IT manager, and will rely on a network of entity administrators and business process owners.
This position is located in La Défense, France, and the Administrator reports to the PMO systems and tools manager (who is the Procore Product Owner) within the R-GBU headquarter.
What you’ll do:
The Global Procore Functional Specialist shall have the following responsibilities:
Contact with Procore:
- Main point of contact for product roadmap and evaluation of impacts of updates/upgrades on the ENGIE configuration
- Responsible for documenting and escalating issues to Procore
- Stay up to date with the product and regularly meets Procore at various levels
Global safeguard of the platform usage:
- Regularly monitor all Procore instances to ensure in-tool configurations are being maintained according to the tool global governance
- Work closely with entity administrators from all geographies to ensure global/entity processes and governance are followed
- For smaller geographies, act as entity administrator during the early ramp-up phase
In-tool configuration & advisory:
- Works together with the Product owner, the entity admins & the process owners to collect needs and define new functionalities which must be set up
- Understands in depth the repercussions of choices within the solution and provide necessary warnings and advisory when needed
- Manage and configure the core model based on the data governance (custom fields, translations, use of each tool, permission templates)
- Coordinate Procore Analytics and interfaces updates linked to the fieldsets / custom fields evolutions
- Plays a proactive role (together with the Product owner, the IT admin and the process owners) to define, implement and test new interfaces, especially related to financial integration to SAP.
Contribution to the deployment:
- Work together with the Product Owner to define and follow-up KPIs and means (surveys, interviews, etc) to measure success of Procore deployment
- Understand in depth specificities of each entity and share best practices across entities,
- Create\maintain transversal reference material as needed, including processes or job roles related to Procore platform
- Performs ad-hoc demonstrations to very diverse audiences (from construction end-users to senior top management)
- Animates the worldwide community of entity administrators on Procore within ENGIE and train entity administrators on the platform and on new features (train the trainers approach)
- Main point of contact for tool-related questions for Entity administrators throughout the RUN phase
What you bring:
- Proven track record on administration of a SaaS project management platform (e.g. Procore, Aconex, Planisware, etc) and enforcing a governance on such platform – previous experience with Procore is not mandatory
- Experience on updating or coordinating the update of dashboards and data model in PowerBI
- Interest for renewables projects and for the construction sector
- Experience in a global organization or experience in a multicultural international environment, navigating between local specificities and global view.
- Must be willing to travel regularly to entities worldwide
- Rigorous and reliable
- High level of maturity in understanding business organizations - Demonstrates pedagogy and ability to face various levels of audience (from end-users to upper management)
- English mandatory, Spanish and French are key pluses
