Transmission Maintenance Operator I
We are seeking a Transmission Maintenance Operator I to perform local operation maneuvers in coordination with the remote operation team, isolate systems and equipment of the Transmission unit, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and monitor operations via remote control, observing any anomalies on screen and taking appropriate actions and reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, functionality tests, and technical assessments on Supervision, Protection, Control, and Telecom Systems (SPCT), as well as other systems and equipment at substations.
- Monitor and oversee maintenance services performed by third parties at substations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and deadlines.
- Support the preparation of periodic technical reports on maintenance activities, including records and evaluations of anomalies, recommendations for corrective and preventive actions, and tracking interventions and results via the Maintenance Management System.
- Participate in the implementation of operational-level actions for cybersecurity of industrial assets, in line with ENGIE’s Industrial Control Systems Security Policy.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on protection, transmission, and telecommunication systems and equipment, including calibration, electronic maintenance, and special testing of critical equipment, as per the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, recording all in the Maintenance Management System.
- Perform operational activities in the field and control room, following operational procedures and maintaining constant contact with the remote control area, operating electrical and electromechanical systems at transmission substations when required.
- Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving equipment and systems, ensuring prompt restoration and supporting maneuvers during preventive and/or corrective maintenance.
- Ensure all services are performed according to technical specifications, standards, and defined timelines.
- Contribute to the evaluation of maintenance systems, philosophies, and procedures, seeking best practices and technological innovations to ensure standardization and modernization of equipment in your area.
- Support the development and updating of the multi-year planning (PPA), reporting needs for budget and investment proposals.
- Ensure fieldwork is conducted according to established procedures, directly contributing to the revision or creation of internal procedures and work instructions, and ensuring full understanding by the teams.
- Conduct periodic inspections of substation equipment and systems, identifying and preventing failures, and performing corrective maintenance when needed, including diagnostics and repairs. Perform electrical parameter tests and measurements to ensure operational standards are met.
- Act swiftly in emergency situations, executing quick maneuvers and interventions to prevent further damage and restore power supply.
- Participate in response actions to failures and adverse situations, working collaboratively with support teams.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with occupational safety standards, safeguarding the physical integrity and safety of all personnel.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Technical degree in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Electronics, or related fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of equipment and systems in transmission facilities.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards and applicable procedures.
- Basic knowledge of integrated management systems.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance management and technical documentation tools and software.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical equipment manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts.
- Basic understanding of transmission processes and associated equipment and systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques.
- Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email.
- Basic knowledge of administrative processes and routines in the area of operation.
Desirable Attributes:
- Ability to operate equipment such as aerial platforms (PTA), cranes (Munck), and forklifts, with specific training for each.
