Transmission Maintenance Operator I
We are looking for a Transmission Maintenance Operator I to perform local operation maneuvers in coordination with the remote operation team, isolate systems and equipment of the Transmission company, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitor operations via remote control, observe any operational anomalies on screen, and perform the necessary reports and actions.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, functionality tests, and technical assessments on Supervision, Protection, Control, and Telecom Systems (SPCT), as well as other systems and equipment at substations.
- Monitor and supervise any maintenance services at substations performed by third parties, ensuring they comply with technical specifications, standards, and deadlines.
- Support the preparation of periodic technical reports on maintenance services, including records and evaluations of anomalies, and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Also, monitor interventions and their outcomes through the Maintenance Management System.
- Participate in the implementation of operational-level actions for the cybersecurity of industrial assets, in compliance with EBE’s Industrial Control Systems Security Policy.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on protection, transmission, and telecommunication systems and equipment, including calibration, electronic maintenance, and special testing, as per the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, recording everything in the Maintenance Management System.
- Carry out operational activities in the field and control room, following operational procedures and maintaining constant communication with the remote control area, operating electrical and electromechanical systems in transmission substations when required.
- Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving equipment and systems until full restoration, including maneuvers during preventive and/or corrective maintenance.
- Ensure all services are performed according to specifications, technical standards, and within defined deadlines.
- Contribute to the evaluation of maintenance procedures and philosophies, seeking best practices and technological innovations to ensure standardization and updates for equipment in your area.
- Support the development and updating of the multi-year planning (PPA), including budget and investment proposals for the facilities.
- Ensure fieldwork complies with established procedures, directly contributing to the revision or creation of internal procedures and work instructions, and ensuring team understanding.
- Conduct periodic inspections of substation equipment and systems, identifying and preventing failures, and performing corrective maintenance when needed. Carry out electrical parameter tests and measurements to ensure operational standards are met.
- Act swiftly in emergencies, performing quick maneuvers and interventions to prevent further damage and restore power supply.
- Participate in failure response and adverse situation actions, working closely with support teams.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with occupational safety standards, safeguarding the physical integrity and safety of all employees.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Technical degree in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Electronics, or related fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of equipment and systems in installations.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Basic knowledge of integrated management systems.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance management tools and technical documentation software.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical equipment manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts.
- Basic understanding of transmission processes and associated systems and equipment.
- Intermediate knowledge of maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques.
- Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, and email.
- Basic knowledge of administrative processes and routines in the area of expertise.
Desirable Attributes:
- Ability to operate equipment such as aerial platforms, cranes, and forklifts, according to specific training for each.
