Environmental Analyst I

You will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with regulations, protect the environment, and strengthen relationships with local communities. This is a hands-on, dynamic role with a meaningful purpose.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental licensing requirements and the social aspects of company projects.
- Conduct on-site technical inspections and participate in meetings with licensing authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor environmental program schedules to ensure the maintenance of Operational Licenses.
- Represent the Company before municipalities, government agencies, NGOs, regional committees, and local communities.
- Support the implementation of social projects and investments, promoting environmental and social awareness.
- Assess non-conformity reports and propose preventive and corrective actions.
- Review and validate measurement reports, technical reports, and field campaigns related to environmental and social activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Geography, Business Administration, Architecture, Economics, Sociology, or Law.
- Basic knowledge of environmental licensing, regulations, and Brazilian environmental legislation.
- Familiarity with geoprocessing systems and office software tools (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
- Valid Category B driver’s license and availability for frequent travel between company assets.
- Self-driven, proactive profile with clear and objective communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including communities, suppliers, public agencies, and internal teams.
- A postgraduate degree in Project Management or Environmental Licensing and basic English proficiency are considered valuable differentiators.
