Role Summary

  • The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the tasks and schedule of a mechanical technicians.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective completion of technical tasks such as preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the closure of work orders.
  • This role involves coordinating daily operations, providing technical guidance, and managing resources.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of technicians, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring completion of the tasks.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical problems.
  • Monitor progress and address any escalated issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all technical work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Manage and allocate tools, equipment, and materials effectively.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper maintenance of technical resources.
  • Act as a liaison between technicians, engineers, and managers.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and any issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a mechanical technical role, with at least 2-3 years.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage technicians.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
