Role Summary
- The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the tasks and schedule of a mechanical technicians.
- Ensuring the efficient and effective completion of technical tasks such as preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the closure of work orders.
- This role involves coordinating daily operations, providing technical guidance, and managing resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of technicians, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring completion of the tasks.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical problems.
- Monitor progress and address any escalated issues that arise.
- Ensure that all technical work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Manage and allocate tools, equipment, and materials effectively.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper maintenance of technical resources.
- Act as a liaison between technicians, engineers, and managers.
- Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and any issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a mechanical technical role, with at least 2-3 years.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage technicians.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
