Responsibilities

Perform quantity surveying duties on district cooling and utility plant projects including major equipment, piping & network (aboveground/underground), cabling, valve, instrument c/w ancillaries, civil and structural work, etc

Conduct cost audits and value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Analyze quotation from supplier/contractor and provide detailed cost comparison/report.

Prepare tender documentation, facilitate tendering, and review the selection of suppliers/contractors.

Prepare contract terms and liaise with the winning vendor for the compliance of legal/EHS/financial requirement.

Issuance of execution contract and Purchase Orders

Support and coordinate with internal stakeholders from different departments to ensure full alignment of the tender exercises

Review and check quality of work for billing claims

Evaluate Variation Orders

Manage suppliers and contractors on-site (e.g. coordination of logistics, evaluation of billings, etc.)

Support with Vendor Accreditation by identifying suitable contractors / vendors
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience in quantity survey consultancy/EPC contractor
- Project estimation experience for chiller plant room or utility building
- Preferably familiar with Standard Conditions of Contract including PSSCOC and FIDICFamiliar with Standard Conditions of Contract including PSSCOC and FIDIC
- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities
