Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our HVAC, Chilled Water Cooling Systems, and Multi-Utility Projects in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive project construction experience, in-depth knowledge of local statutory codes, relevant safety certifications, and a proven track record of managing complex projects in the field of HVAC and utilities. This role requires a minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in project management within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of HVAC, Chilled Water Cooling Systems, and Multi-Utility Projects, from inception to completion.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep technical knowledge to provide guidance and solutions to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, taking into consideration the specific requirements of each project.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, facilitating clear and transparent communication.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safety.
- Local Code Compliance: Stay updated on local and national statutory codes and regulations related to construction and utilities, ensuring projects are in compliance at all times.
- Safety Leadership: Promote a culture of safety on project sites, adhering to safety protocols and certifications while fostering a safe working environment for all team members. Leading the project team across all sites to maintain high safety standards.
- Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management.
- Team Development: Mentor, train, and develop project teams to enhance their skills and ensure project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of project management experience in HVAC, Chilled Water Cooling Systems, and Multi-Utility Projects.
- Extensive knowledge of local applicable statutory codes and regulations.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, PRC, NEBOSH).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.
