Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting and reporting functions to improve the timeliness, accuracy and quality of regional and local reporting
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing: Perform closing processes including posting of transactions and journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations to ensure entries and balances are correct and reconciled.
- Prepare timely and reliable financial and other relevant reports (local and regional submission in line with reporting timetables)
- Monitor developments in accounting standards, changes in taxation and other regulations that impact financials and to ensure statutory reporting compliance
- Support and develop a strong internal controls environment; ensure compliance with policies and internal controls; identify areas for improvements to strengthen controls.
- Provide forecast and budget variance analysis and other management information reports and insights.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- Preferable Certified Public Accountant
- At least 8 years relevant working experience
- Proactive and independent
- Communicative, active personality and team spirit person
- Ability to show initiative and drive continuous improvement
- Abiliy to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
- Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities
