Responsibilities 

  • Lead the accounting and reporting functions to improve the timeliness, accuracy and quality of regional and local reporting 
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing: Perform closing processes including posting of transactions and journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations to ensure entries and balances are correct and reconciled. 
  • Prepare timely and reliable financial and other relevant reports (local and regional submission in line with reporting timetables) 
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards, changes in taxation and other regulations that impact financials and to ensure statutory reporting compliance 
  • Support and develop a strong internal controls environment; ensure compliance with policies and internal controls; identify areas for improvements to strengthen controls. 
  • Provide forecast and budget variance analysis and other management information reports and insights. 

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent 
  • Preferable Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience 
  • Proactive and independent
  • Communicative, active personality and team spirit person
  • Ability to show initiative and drive continuous improvement
  • Abiliy to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
  • Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities
