Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and interpret customer’s process and energy consumption data for commercial and industrial clients.
- Conduct site walk-through audits and manage energy data collection campaigns
- Understand the client’s requirements and drivers, define and evaluate energy efficiency projects
- Oversee the work of team members to ensure it is productive, meet deadlines and follow company policy
- Design, model and optimize new or existing commercial and industrial energy systems
- Conduct feasibility studies, concept designs and front-end engineering designs of utility systems
- Develop cost effective improvements strategies through proper selection of high efficiency equipment and design configuration
- Draft and review control system philosophy
- Manage engineering interfaces with customers, OEMs, EPCs and subcontractors
- Draft technical specifications and equipment RFP
- Estimate project CAPEX and OPEX
- Draft proposals, deliver presentations to new and existing customers, support business development in negotiations
- Review and draft technical inputs to project contracts such as energy offtake agreement, EPC contracts, engineering consultancy agreement, maintenance agreement etc)
- Support operation and facilities management team for continuous energy improvements on sites
Requirements
- Master/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in utilities such as chilled water plants, compressed air system, hot water system and steam
- Design experience on electro-mechanical system is preferred
- Experience in operations & maintenance of industrial energy assets and/or understanding of accounting, discounted cash flow modelling and energy services business models will have an added advantage
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to drive and influence change management.
