Occupational Safety Technician I

We are looking for an Occupational Safety Technician I to work directly in the field, ensuring compliance with regulations, protecting lives, and contributing to operational excellence. Your work will have a real impact on daily operations and on the company’s prevention culture.
Your responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the safety of work activities at wind farms, authorizing work fronts in critical activities such as working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Support the management of CIPA, the fire brigade, and first aid teams, as well as lead the Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
- Monitor and carry out the evaluation process of contractors in accordance with corporate health and safety rules.
- Inspect equipment and facilities, suspending activities when necessary in the presence of serious and imminent risks.
- Conduct incident and accident analyses, prepare statistics, and report safety indicators to corporate teams.
- Train both internal employees and contractors on occupational health and safety topics.
- Participate in audits, certification processes, and in the preparation of terms of reference for supplier selection.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Technical degree in Occupational Safety.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, and email.
- Experience with integrated management systems.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, analytical profile, and proactivity to work independently in the field.
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field.
- Desirable: Basic English.
