Occupational Safety Supervisor
We are looking for an Occupational Safety Supervisor to oversee, guide, and support the activities carried out by Occupational Safety Technicians, ensuring the efficient execution of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) processes and compliance with legal regulations, internal guidelines, and best practices at the Company’s operational units. This role acts as a strategic link between the technical team, management, and corporate departments, ensuring the effective implementation of policies, analysis and management of indicators, team development, and the promotion of a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise, guide, and support the activities of Occupational Safety Technicians, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines, regulatory standards, and local demands, while ensuring the execution of area planning and achievement of established goals and indicators.
- Supervise and conduct internal and external audits, including audits of contracted companies, verifying compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs), Brazilian technical standards, and the Company’s internal guidelines. Propose and monitor the implementation of improvement actions identified during audits.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with legal standards, updates, and internal guidelines.
- Consolidate, monitor, and report occupational safety indicators to management and corporate teams, including incident and accident analyses. Propose corrective and preventive actions, as well as continuous improvements to ensure a safe work environment aligned with Company standards. Prepare reports and deliver presentations to share safety-related content with field teams and stakeholders.
- Support management in planning, developing, and overseeing policies, programs, and projects related to occupational safety, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and integration with corporate best practices.
- Supervise and lead investigations of workplace incidents and accidents, conducting detailed analyses and ensuring corrective measures are implemented. Conduct regular site visits to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, promoting continuous improvement of the work environment.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team, management, and the corporate OHS team, ensuring alignment of actions, compliance with legal standards, and integration with the Company’s strategic goals. Interact with regulatory agencies and accompany audits or technical visits when necessary.
- Develop and oversee continuous improvement initiatives in occupational safety processes, proposing policies, guidelines, and innovative solutions applicable to ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Supervise the management of OHS-related contracts, ensuring technical compliance and excellence in services provided by third parties. Participate in the preparation of terms of reference, technical specifications, and descriptive reports, as well as analyze proposals and contribute to supplier selection processes.
- Plan and monitor the occupational safety budget, aligning operational demands with the Company’s strategic goals and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Supervise and analyze civil and electromechanical projects related to occupational health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate guidelines, and best safety practices.
- Promote technical and professional development and manage the team, ensuring continuous training and support for safety technicians.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Technical Degree or Specialization in Occupational Safety
- Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email)
- Intermediate English
- Experience in people, budget, and resource management
- Occupational Health and Safety Certification (ISO 45001)
- Knowledge of OHSAS or equivalent certification
- Experience with preventive programs
- Ability to interpret and analyze data
Desirable Attributes:
- Degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety
