What You Can Expect
The Site Administrator role at the Prince Edward Island and Caribou Wind sites provides essential assistance to the Plant Manager and other plant management and technical staff. This position is crucial for maintaining smooth operations by handling administrative tasks such as procurement, budgeting, vendor management, and recordkeeping. The role also supports safety committee activities, coordinates travel, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting. The position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Cost and Procurement Support: Assist the Plant Manager with cost controls, budget preparation, vendor management, billing resolution, and preparation of reports and correspondence.
- Safety Committee Involvement: Serve as a member of the local safety committee.
- Purchase Orders Management: Generate, expedite, and close out purchase orders; assist with the delivery of orders.
- Document and Report Production: Create documents and reports as requested by operational leaders.
- Travel Coordination: Assist supervisors in scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Invoice and Inventory Management: Process invoices, maintain purchase orders, and keep accurate inventory records.
- General Administration: Manage timesheets, recordkeeping activities, and plant accounting tasks.
- HR Coordination: Collaborate with corporate HR for necessary assistance.
- Routine Logs and Reporting: Maintain operating logs and reports for the plant.
- Site Deliveries: Organize and receive deliveries at the site.
- Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma (required), plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions.
- Strong analytical judgment for planning and performing diversified work within prescribed limitations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to take direction.
- Compliance with training and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- Could involve some lifting / up to 50 lbs
