Storengy UK Ltd is a company of ENGIE, with a purpose to accelerate the transition towards a carbon-neutral economy through reduced consumption and environmentally friendly solutions. Storengy UK developed and now operates the Stublach Natural Gas Storage site in Cheshire, the largest onshore in the UK.
Purpose of the role
We are seeking an IT & IS Manager to oversee the management, planning, and operational delivery of Information and Communication Technologies on site. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the Information Security management system and the cyber security posture of the company, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements for both Corporate and Industrial Control Systems areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Information Security management system and cyber security posture.
- Implement ENGIE governance requirements into local policies, procedures, and configurations.
- Provide digital solutions and continuous development work streams for all platforms managed by Storengy UK.
- Manage infrastructure and development programs and projects.
- Contribute to the leadership of Storengy UK, sharing experiences, informed opinions, challenges, and knowledge.
- Drive the delivery of Storengy UK strategy, ensuring achievement of objectives and targets.
- Collaborate with other departments, teams, Storengy entities, the ENGIE UK Hub, and the Network GBU.
- Ensure effective working relationships with external and internal suppliers.
- Deliver accurate monitoring and reporting across statutory, contractual, and organisational KPI requirements.
- Manage the IT budgeting process, ensuring accuracy of data provided and ongoing monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent certification or experience.
- Sound understanding and experience of risk and opportunity management.
- Effective experience of developing successful working relationships.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
- Experience of managing key stakeholders.

- ISM Qualification
- Agile Certification
- GDPR Practitioner Qualification
- ITIL / PRINCE qualifications
