What You Can Expect

The Business Development Analyst II, Northeast role is responsible for leading and/or supporting the development strategies for targeting clients, building organizational partnerships and strategic alliances with non-profits, regional organizations, and technology accelerators, and collaborating with client executives from project conceptualization through to construction and implementation. This role is targeting new businesses either not mature or gaining in maturity within Distributed Energy Solutions, with a strong focus on new geographies, particularly the Northeast.

 

The successful candidate for this role should have an understanding of energy conservation and be willing to present new and innovative approaches and ideas related to this topic, while remaining passionate in the energy conservation, mobility, renewable energy, and/or design-build space. This role will be supporting sales leaders in building a fast-paced, innovative team at a clean-technology firm with a national footprint, powerful global parent company, and major trajectory for growth.

 

This position will sit in New York and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of consultative, complex sales, or other relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of a quota-driven sales environment, supporting sales production targets
  • Experience in energy services, mobility and/or renewable energy industry
  • Experience working with municipalities or other public sector entities
  • Experience working with or for engineering, architectural, and/or design-build firms
  • Experience in management consulting or strategy consulting

 

 

Additional Details

  • This position will sit in New York where we have a team coworking space and will report to the Regional Sales Manager. This position is open to a hybrid schedule of both in-office and work-from-home days or fully remote depending on candidate’s location.
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time including some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
