About the Role 

We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to play a key hands-on role in supporting and evolving critical network infrastructure across our corporate and operational sites. You'll work with modern networking technologies, lead complex technical initiatives and help ensure secure, reliable connectivity across a diverse and geographically dispersed environment. Interstate and regional travel will be required and may be frequent at times. 

  • Support and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, VPN and SD-WAN environments. 

  • Design, implement and maintain secure network solutions across corporate and operational technology environments. 

  • Lead the technical delivery of network upgrades, migrations and new site connectivity projects. 

  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution of incidents impacting business operations. 

  • Monitor network performance, availability and capacity, implementing improvements to enhance reliability. 

  • Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations, standards and operational procedures. 

 

About You 

You're a hands-on network professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and working close to the technology. You'll bring strong infrastructure experience, a proactive approach to problem solving and the flexibility to support sites across multiple locations when required. 

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or a related discipline) and networking certification such as Cisco CCNA. 

  • Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs and SD-WAN. 

  • Experience designing, operating and troubleshooting OT / industrial network environments, including secure IT/OT connectivity. 

  • Strong understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation and secure network design. 

  • Experience with network monitoring, incident management, problem management and change implementation in complex environments. 

  • Ability and willingness to undertake interstate and regional travel on a regular basis, including periods of frequent site travel.
