About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Decommissioning, Demolition & Rehabilitation (DDR) projects across ENGIE's generation assets, including the Hazelwood Rehabilitation Project and sites in South Australia. You'll oversee projects from planning through to completion, with regular travel required to South Australian sites to support project delivery, stakeholder engagement and site activities.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of decommissioning, demolition, remediation and rehabilitation projects.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and governance requirements to achieve key milestones.
- Coordinate engineering, environmental, operational and technical workstreams to support project delivery.
- Oversee contractors, consultants and project partners to ensure performance, quality and contractual compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government authorities, community representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a small project team while fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.
About You
You're a collaborative and delivery-focused project leader with experience managing large-scale industrial, infrastructure or complex asset transition projects in regulated environments. You'll bring strong commercial, stakeholder and project management capability, along with a commitment to safe and sustainable project outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience delivering major decommissioning, rehabilitation, remediation, demolition, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, governance frameworks, risk management and contractor management.
- Demonstrated experience working within highly regulated environments and managing regulatory, compliance and stakeholder requirements.
- Proven ability to engage and influence regulators, government authorities, contractors and other key stakeholders.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to South Australian sites to support project delivery, stakeholder engagement and site activities, ensuring safe, on-time and on-budget delivery.
