Your key responsibilities
Your main tasks under the authority of the Technical Project Manager (also named TEF Lead Manager) will be :
- Regular inspection visits to the site, to check that the work is in line with the approved design (ensuring that design intent is met).
- In the event of non-conformity being identified, direct communication with the Client's representatives on site in order to resolve the situation, if possible, then monitoring its processing by the Client.
- Development of monitoring tool(s) for the civil engineering of the PSC, ensuring that the design is properly applied (installation of monitoring sections on time, frequency of measurements).
- Analyses of the monitoring data for the application of the observational method used for certain specific points of the GC design (e.g. monitoring of concrete temperature, monitoring of displacements for the subject of the connection of the slabs to the cavern, etc.).
- Record-keeping (monitoring of auscultations, correspondence, etc.).
- Resolving technical issues arising from the site (RFI, FCN, NCR, etc.).
- Ongoing communication and coordination with the HO design lead(s).
- Leading the HO team in updating models (where necessary) .
- Participation in the life of the resident team on site, in particular the other members of the resident team responsible for monitoring GC works.
- Participation and leadership, where appropriate, in internal and external technical meetings (with Client and with the Employer) to resolve comments and issues.
- Coordination with Client and Employer to carry out "post-IFC" studies.
- Coordination with EM Supplier in relation to any possible request for change at site related to the EM-CW interfaces.
- Review and approval of shop drawings.
- Review and approval of as-built drawings.
- Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, where appropriate.
- Preparing and assisting, where necessary, test and commissioning procedures in conjunction with the CW structures.
- Contributing to the monthly activity report.

You are graduated in Civil Engineering (MSc or equivalent).
You have 10 year experience minimum in concrete buiding on-site operations, of which at least 2 years for hydroelectric premises.
Position will be based on Snowy 2.0 site in Australia
