The Role
As an Operational Risk Analyst, you’ll play a key role in optimising performance and reducing risk across ENGIE Retail’s operational business. You’ll be responsible for gathering and analysing data, identifying potential risks, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement through data and insight.
About You
You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong understanding of operational risk and a passion for improving business processes.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a deregulated industry such as energy.
- Strong understanding of operational risk principles and project risk/issue management.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills, with a high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience contributing to change projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, Monday.com, JIRA, and other data visualisation platforms.

- Based at our office in Southbank, Melbourne
- Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility between office and remote work
- Regular presence at our ENGIE office is required for cross-functional collaboration
