At ENGIE, great adventures always start with a simple "hello" and the desire to take action for tomorrow. If, like us, you strongly believe the energy transition holds opportunities for you and for everyone, then look no further, you belong with us!
Our goal is to be the best energy transition utility, and we have an ambition to reach net zero emissions by 2045. In Australia, this includes flexible power generation, energy retail services for homes and businesses, advanced energy management solutions, and a growing portfolio of future-focused projects — from hydrogen and battery storage to wind and solar developments.

We’re seeking a collaborative and future focused Head of Project Delivery to lead the successful execution of our major projects and help accelerate Australia’s clean energy transition.

About the role
In this senior leadership role, you'll oversee the delivery of new renewable and flexible power generation assets across Australia—ensuring projects are executed safely, sustainably, on time and within budget.
•    Lead end to end delivery of a diverse project portfolio, aligning outcomes to ENGIE’s strategic, commercial and sustainability objectives.
•    Establish strong governance, applying best practice program and project management methodologies to drive predictable, high quality results.
•    Champion planning and stakeholder engagement, coordinating consultation and securing agreement on deliverables across internal teams, regulatory agencies, government bodies and landowners.
•    Identify and manage risks and issues, developing proactive solutions to maintain schedule, quality and cost.
•    Oversee project documentation to support investment decisions and financial close.
•    Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory and contractual obligations.
•    Support business development, contributing to M&A assessments, market analysis and the frameworks, templates and tools that uplift delivery capability.
•    Lead and empower a high performing team, fostering a culture of safety, learning, inclusion and people centred leadership aligned to ENGIE’s Ways of Working.

About you
You are an inclusive, strategic leader who brings people together to deliver complex energy infrastructure with purpose. You navigate ambiguity with confidence, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and create environments where teams can do their best work.
•    Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, plus PMP/PRINCE2 (or similar).
•    Extensive experience delivering large scale energy or infrastructure projects in Australia, ideally including renewables, batteries or power generation.
•    Strong commercial and contract management capability, including financial and risk oversight.
•    Experience operating in large, matrixed organisations.
•    Proficiency with project management and digital delivery tools.
•    Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing people and leading through change.
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation experience across government, regulatory, community and commercial environments.
