About the Role

As our Corporate Communications Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering integrated communications plans that support ENGIE’s strategic priorities, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement. This role spans both internal and external communications, ensuring consistent, impactful messaging across all channels.

You’ll collaborate with teams across the business to translate complex energy initiatives into compelling stories that resonate with employees, partners, and the public—reinforcing ENGIE’s leadership in Australia’s clean energy future.

Key Responsibilities

External Communications

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns to promote ENGIE’s projects, partnerships, and sustainability leadership.
  • Create and manage content for social media, branded collateral, and visual assets.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to optimise impact.
  • Support reactive communications and issues management.

Internal Communications

  • Deliver engaging internal campaigns aligned with strategic initiatives, DEI, safety, and culture.
  • Partner with business units to enhance employee engagement through effective messaging.
  • Develop toolkits and cascade materials for leaders.
  • Celebrate employee achievements and foster connection across teams.

Strategic Planning & Collaboration

  • Contribute to the annual communications calendar and campaign roadmap.
  • Align messaging with ENGIE’s global brand framework.
  • Identify storytelling and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Collaborate across business units to ensure communications reflect operational realities.
  • Support event management and generate communication reports with actionable insights.

 

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations.
  • Proven experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism.
  • Strong campaign execution and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in large, matrixed organisations or energy/infrastructure sectors is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with sustainability communications, DEI, and internal culture-building.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging messages.
