About the Role
You’ll take ownership of commercial contract management and risk mitigation across ENGIE ANZ’s renewable energy projects during the delivery phase. You’ll partner closely with delivery, procurement, legal, finance and asset teams to ensure strong contractual governance, commercial alignment, and smooth project execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end contract management throughout the delivery phase, ensuring governance, compliance and commercial integrity.
- Oversee variations, manage cost targets and negotiate contractual changes to support successful project outcomes.
- Interpret and analyse contract terms, assessing commercial and operational implications to ensure alignment with delivery activities.
- Manage procurement needs during delivery, including sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, tenders, negotiations and agreement development.
- Identify risks across commercial contracts and collaborate with internal teams to strengthen risk controls and compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement by reviewing contract performance, identifying optimisation opportunities and enhancing workflows.
About You
You bring strong commercial judgment, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to manage complex contractual environments within infrastructure, engineering or energy projects. You will also have:
- Experience managing full lifecycle contract administration, including variations, compliance, performance analysis and commercial issue resolution.
- Confidence negotiating with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- The ability to interpret contract terms, assess commercial impacts and support risk‑informed decision‑making.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills, ensuring accurate, timely and well‑managed contractual records and procurement processes.
- Experience improving workflows, implementing best‑practice approaches and supporting continuous improvement.
- Ability to extract insights from contract performance, market information or project data to inform recommendations.
- Clear, structured communication skills when presenting commercial or contractual advice.
- Comfort working with enterprise systems, document management platforms and analytical tools.
