Transmission Line Electrician I

We are looking for a Transmission Line Electrician I to join our team in Medeiros Neto, Bahia. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspections, and repairs on transmission lines, ensuring the continuity of the energy supply with safety and efficiency.

Your responsibilities

• Perform ground and aerial inspections of transmission lines, identifying and classifying anomalies in cables, insulators, spheres, and vegetation.
• Conduct soil resistivity and grounding measurements, cable gauging, and verification of safety distances according to technical standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify maintenance needs, and promptly correct faults.
• Install transformers, electrical and metallic protections, pressure blocking valves, and electrical cables according to operational demands.
• Oversee maintenance services performed by third parties, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and defined deadlines.
• Schedule activities according to work orders, recording services and contributing to predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance planning.
• Follow and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations applicable to operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma (mandatory).
• Technical degree in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, or related fields (preferred).
• Experience with Transmission Line maintenance, preferably with Live Line techniques (barehand and hot-stick methods).
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and flowcharts.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer tools.
• Proactive, solution-oriented profile with strong interpersonal skills.
