Job Purpose/Mission:
Regional Sales Manager (Maputo Province) will manage the field team of Team Leaders and Sales Agents in the Maputo province in achievement of sales, revenue, PAYGO collections budgets, B2B partnerships, customer relationship management, fraud mitigation, exceptional customer experience and other business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive budget
- Responsible for delivery of sales target for the province across all SHS product categories- SHS, LSHS, SBS & Sistema Bio.
- Responsible for delivery of monthly revenue target of the province.
- Responsible for leading the team in management of credit and loan recovery to minimum 70% portfolio quality.
- Responsible for inventory management across all hubs in the province in line with laid down inventory management policies.
- Responsible for ideation & implementation of strategic initiatives that drive the team toward achievement of business goals.
- Sales & Customer Experience:
- Prepares proposals, conducts sales presentations, and negotiate contracts with B2B partners.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience by maintaining high standards of service and support of the team and to customers.
- Educate customers on the benefits and functionalities of our solar energy solutions.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations at fairs and other sales events.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing ongoing support and communication.
- Provincial Leadership:
- Represents the provinces at all provincial management meetings.
- Daily management of the team leaders and agents to build a strong, focused and high performing team.
- Judicious management of monthly allowances to support field activities and maintain a motivated and productive team.
- Talent Management and succession planning for Team Leaders and agents across the province.
- Promote a culture of responsibility and safety within the team, ensuring all activities are carried out safely with no life or asset at risk.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or equivalent in Business, Management, Economics, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in the sales and business development.
- Experience in renewable energy sector and PAYGO business model is an advantage.Strong leadership capability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and strategy implementation skills.
- Strong record keeping and presentation skills.
Languages: Portuguese (fluent) and English (fluent)
