Responsibilities
- Provides technical leadership on backend and data engineering activities for an energy trading product(s)
- Ensures delivery of secure, high performance applications and data driven capabilities
- Guide engineers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
Requirements

Graduate of Computer Science or related courses with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Experience in designing robust web applications in the cloud.

Experience with serverless and microservices architectures.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker).

Experience using Generative AI to support software development (advantage).

Strong experience in unit and integration testing.

Strong expertise in Python (additionally AWS boto3, Django, Flask are an advantage).

Skilled in designing, deploying, monitoring, and operating scalable, highly available cloud systems

Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and automation.

Proficiency in object-oriented design patterns and modern engineering principles.

Good understanding of relational/NoSQL databases and big data concepts (advantage).

Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript technologies (Node.js, Angular, React, Vue, etc.) (advantage).

Good understanding of application and network security.
