We are currently looking for a Junior Asset Manager for our headquarters in Madrid.

Mission

Your mission as a Junior Asset Manager  is to support the effective management and performance monitoring of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, contributing to economic performance, compliance and governance activities under the guidance of senior team members.

You will work closely with Operations, Energy Management, Finance, Legal and other internal teams to support business plan follow‑up, reporting activities and stakeholder coordination, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory and HSE requirements.

The role contributes to the day‑to‑day coordination of asset management activities and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the asset lifecycle.

 

Functions

  1. Support the implementation of asset management best practices across the portfolio, working under the supervision of senior asset managers and in coordination with RGBU Europe, RGBU Spain and T&G Spain support functions.
  2. Assist in the preparation, monitoring and follow‑up of budgets and cost evolution, supporting performance tracking and deviation analysis.
  3. Contribute to portfolio reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of operational, financial and ESG information.
  4. Support compliance monitoring across the portfolio, helping to ensure alignment with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, HSE standards and internal policies.
  5. Participate in stakeholder management activities, supporting interactions with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and business continuity of assets and SPVs.
  6. Work closely with Operations and O&M teams on day‑to‑day asset topics, providing analytical and coordination support and escalating issues when required.
  7. Support senior asset managers in external stakeholder interactions, governance forums and partner communications, acting as a coordination point when needed.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting analysis related to costs, availability, risks and operational performance.

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
  • English: B2 - C1.
  • Proficiency in Python and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of database design principles.
  • Hands-on experience in data architecture, pipeline development, and cloud-based services (AWS).

 

Experience

  1. At least 2 years of experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing.
  2. Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS services, and data engineering tools.
  3. Strong background in Python, Apache Airflow, Spark, and Lambda Functions.
  4. Experience deploying end-to-end solutions and building architectures from scratch.
