SUMMARY: This role will lead the data acquisition operations for the Resource Data Management (RDM) business, driving innovation through automation and AI while ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role, situated in Operations, will be integral in setting the data acquisition strategy for the business, direct the data acquisition teams and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes, improve data quality, and support RDM’s broader strategic objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Play an integral role in defining and executing the electronic data acquisition strategy for the business, driving the transition from manual to automated, system-driven data ingestion models. Continuously improve data acquisition processes and technologies with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and the use of AI, OCR, APIs, EDI, and other automation tools where applicable.
- Partner closely with Product, Data, Innovation (PDI), and Digital teams to prioritize and deliver a technology-forward roadmap that advances electronic data acquisition, reduces manual touchpoints, and improves end-to-end data flow and reliability.
- Lead the transformation of operational systems, workflows, and governance to support RDM’s strategic objectives, with a strong emphasis on business process automation, digital reporting, and scalable operating models.
- Provide leadership oversight for data acquisition teams across electronic ingestion and residual manual operations, setting clear performance expectations while actively reducing dependency on manual data entry and mail-based processes over time.
- Mentor and develop managers with a focus on change leadership, building capability in automation adoption, data quality management, and modern data operations practices.
- Contribute to RDM-specific business continuity and disaster recovery planning, with an emphasis on system resilience, redundancy, and automation-enabled recovery within the enterprise risk management framework.
- Collaborate with onshore operations leaders to ensure global data acquisition activities are optimized for digital-first execution, with consistent quality standards, automation adoption, and performance management across regions.
- Work with business SMEs to conduct data quality audits, define and monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in electronically sourced data accuracy, timeliness, and reliability.
- Act as a key liaison between Client Management, Sales, Product, and Operations to translate evolving client requirements into scalable electronic data acquisition solutions, minimizing custom manual workarounds.
What You’ll Bring:

- Bachelor's Degree required in one of the following fields; Operations, Business, Technology or a related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred in one of the following fields; Operations, Business, Technology or a related field.
- 7+ years relevant experience with data acquisition, data management, or operations within financial services, data processing, or a related industry
- 3+ years of senior leadership experience leading large teams; experience leading global teams is preferred
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Digital) on strategic initiatives
- Proven experience setting data acquisition strategy for the company, driving operational efficiency and implementing automation or AI

Work Environment:
- The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
- The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office, ranging from quiet to moderate in nature due to an open area concept and multiple people on phone calls at one time.
- Typical office hours for the day shift is 6:00am to 3:00pm and the night shift is 9:00pm to 6:00am
- Performing duties and attending meetings/events during the evening and on weekends occurs occasionally and may be requited.
- Traveling off-site to other ENGIE’s offices does occur and may be required.
- Must have ability to telecommute from a home-office environment.
- Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week
- As a global organization, attending meetings and events during early mornings and evenings may be required
- Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required
