Revenue Officer UK & RoI

At ENGIE, we are building a cleaner energy future. Your expertise in power markets can directly shape how we capture value from over 2GW of renewable, battery storage, and pumped hydro assets. This is your chance to influence revenue of the business while accelerating the energy transition.

We Want You

This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, risk management, and asset performance. You will co-own revenue outcomes across a diverse and growing portfolio. The position carries significant complexity, requiring you to navigate multiple market drivers, contractual structures, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

Your main duties include:

- Co-own revenue performance for ENGIE's UK and RoI power assets, including pumped hydro, renewables, and battery storage.
- Collaborate with portfolio management teams to design risk mandates and implement hedging strategies that maximise value.
- Lead the development and structuring of commercial deals. These include power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, virtual power sales, weather derivatives, and subsidy mechanisms.
- Monitor asset and portfolio performance through clear indicators. Propose actions to improve profitability.
- Contribute to budgeting, medium-term planning, and revenue forecasting for existing and pipeline assets.
- Advise internal teams on UK and RoI regulatory changes, market trends, and new commercial opportunities.
- Support investment decisions by validating revenue assumptions and contributing to project valuations.

Position complexity:

You will directly handle day-to-day and medium-term revenue analysis, identify hedging and optimisation opportunities within approved mandates, diagnose performance issues, challenge asset assumptions, and support negotiations on standard commercial arrangements. You manage a large set of internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions.

You escalate matters when they involve decisions outside approved risk mandates, material deviations from approved assumptions, significant new product complexity, non-standard contractual terms, major investment commitments, or issues requiring formal validation by senior management or governance committees.

Who Are You

- You hold a degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, economics, or IT. Equivalent hands-on experience in energy is equally valued.
- You have several years of experience in the energy industry with strong knowledge of UK and RoI power markets.
- You understand renewable and battery asset economics deeply. You can model exposures and flexibilities with confidence.
- You have proven experience with energy offtake agreements, power marketing, product structuring, and advanced valuation models.
- You combine outstanding analytical skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders.
- You work effectively across teams and functions in a matrix organisation.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office. Python coding and big data skills are a plus.
- You bring strong commercial judgement and can connect market, asset, and contractual drivers.

Location

London, UK — Hybrid working arrangement.

What We Offer

- A competitive salary reflecting the seniority and impact of this role, with clear career progression within ENGIE's European revenues organisation.
- A diverse range of missions spanning commercial structuring, risk management, market analysis, and strategic portfolio development.
- High-impact work at the heart of the UK energy transition, with direct influence on significant revenue streams.
- A collaborative and supportive work environment within a growing international team.
- Flexible hybrid working to support your work-life balance.
- Access to ENGIE's global network, learning programmes, and development opportunities.
