As a Quality Controller specialising in Control and Instrumentation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our renewable energy projects. This is a fixed term contract role for up to 4 years.

 

Summary of what you will do

  • Support the Project Team in implementing and monitoring quality processes
  • Verify and accept protocols in line with predefined criteria throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage non-conformities and ensure their resolution
  • Conduct site inspections during installation and commissioning phases
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests and Intermediate Inspections for off-site works
  • Compile and manage the Project Punch List, coordinating with ENGIE and Main Contractor Leads
  • Provide discipline-specific support for Control and Instrumentation throughout the project

 

What you will bring to the role

  • Higher National Certificate or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience in hydro power stations or similar industrial environments
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical information, such as engineering drawings
  • Strong background in quality systems and technical inspections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work effectively in a team
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • Full driving licence

 

Job Based In

This is a site based role at Dinorwig Power Station in Llanberis (North Wales)
