Engineering Projects Programme Coordinator

The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised individual to support the effective management and delivery of the investment programme for Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations. This role is site-based and involves conducting detailed reviews of technical scope information, risks, resource and delivery plans to support effective delivery of a portfolio of engineering projects.
By establishing a comprehensive picture of the overall programme, the successful candidate will play a key role in the future success of First Hydro Company’s key assets.
Key Activities:
The successful candidate will support managing ongoing refurbishment projects, establishing and maintaining predictions of resource requirements and analysing project data to track key performance metrics. For the overall programme you will assist in updating the overall replant programme roadmap to complete refurbishment programme for both Stations.
For both these key assets you will assist the Engineering and Programme Manager and Project Director to construct, forecast and monitor budgetary programmes and routine reports based on project and resource data
The role will require engagement with the on-site and wider Engie teams you will be expected to develop knowledge and understanding of the Power Stations. This will enable you to also oversee the update and maintenance of medium- and long-term plans for future investment projects.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Motivated and professional individual who wishes to commit to a role which will provide both opportunity and challenge
- Qualified to degree level in a technical discipline which is relevant to enable understanding of technical risk.
- Experience of working within a large scale complex industrial environment.
- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint applications.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.
- Knowledge of the concepts and practices associated with life-cycle asset management practices.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Experience liaising with stakeholders as well as work colleagues.
- Awareness of health, safety and legislation relevant to the industry ideally with evidence of formal training or qualification.
- High standard of focus and attention to detail
