What you will do

  • Lead and deliver a range of IT projects, from office computing to complex engineering information systems
  • Spearhead the business digitisation program, developing innovative solutions to meet evolving needs
  • Manage resources, contractors, and budgets to ensure project success
  • Assist in the assessment, selection, and management of IT contracts
  • Contribute to system performance improvement and risk management initiatives

 

What you will bring to the role

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications/experience in IT, Computing, or Electronic Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Windows PC & Server operating systems, hardware, and cybersecurity principles
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining IT operational environments
  • Familiarity with networking components, protocols, and industrial control systems
  • Understanding of power industry operations and related business processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

 

Job Based In Llanberis (North Wales)

This role requires on-site presence to effectively manage IT infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

*You must be eligible to work in the UK and have been a resident in the UK for the last 5 years to apply for this role as it will be  subject to National Security Vetting.
