Data Engineer – Full Stack

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses
• Implement and manage high-performance data storage solutions
• Create dashboards and reporting solutions for actionable insights
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems for smooth operation

What you will bring to the role

• Degree in a related subject
• Experience in full stack data engineering, with knowledge of modern data platforms
• Proficiency in Power BI and semantic modelling
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Interest in technology and willingness to learn about pumped storage power stations
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to manage projects and work with minimal supervision

First Hydro Company, Dinorwig Power Station, Llanberis, North Wales

*You must be eligible to work in the UK and have been a resident in the UK for the last 5 years to apply for this role as it will be  subject to National Security Vetting.
