For our Renewables Storage & Decentralized Flexibility business line at ENGIE Laborelec (Linkebeek, Belgium), we are currently looking for a Renewable Energy Business Developer (F/M/X)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Renewable Energy Business Developer
- Drive the full commercial lifecycle: from opportunity identification to customer loyalty
- Act as a senior market-facing representative, engaging developers, investors, and technical decision-makers on complex renewable energy projects
- Open new markets and actively pursue opportunities, especially in solar and battery storage, but also in wind (onshore and offshore).
- Position Laborelec as a trusted technical and advisory partner with strong added value.
- Translate market and customer insights into high-value services, working closely with Laborelec’s technical experts.
- Contribute to the shaping and evolution of Laborelec’s renewable service offering.
YOUR PROFILE as Renewable Energy Business Developer
- Master engineering, with strong technical knowledge of renewables (solar, wind, BESS)
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management in the energy sector
- Existing network in the renewable energy ecosystem in Europe
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and a true team player
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
- Strong experience in complex problem-solving and building innovative, multidisciplinary proposals Curious, open-minded, and able to switch between technologies
- Proven track record in developing new business and managing customer relationships

Location
The position is based in Linkebeek (about 10 km from Brussels), which is our main lab-site. However, depending on project requirements, occasional travel or short-term assignments at other international locations may be part of the role.
