Welcome to ENGIE Generation Europe! This business unit of ENGIE has the ambition to become the perfect complement to renewable energy, as well as to proactively guide the industry in its energy transition!
We are looking for a junior technician pumps and fans (M/F/X) whose work will spread across the entire Belgian territory. Likewise, you are willing to spend up to 30% of working time abroad
. You will join EMS (European Maintenance Services, part of ENGIE Generation Europe), which is responsible for the specialized maintenance of power plant turbines, alternators, high-voltage installations and boilers, among others.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

As a junior technician pumps and fans (M/F/X), you will work together with more experienced colleagues to organize and carry out maintenance on more complex pumps in power plants. This includes checking spare parts, preparing quality plans and measurement sheets, execution planning … The necessary risk analyses and safeguards are of course also an indispensable part of preparation. During execution, you will be tinkering and measuring yourself to make the technology your own. As such, you will also be involved in identifying technical deviations and with determining the best solutions. Finally, you will collaborate on reporting, updating documentation and following up on spare parts repairs. This way, you can gain a lot of experience with fast-spinning devices and the damage mechanisms in pumps and fans. Gradually you will be given more and more responsibility until you can carry out maintenance and repairs independently.

WE OFFER YOU:

  • A growing salary package with various options (time, money, lease bike, etc.), bonuses, numerous fringe benefits (meal vouchers, pension plan, hospitalization insurance, discounts at numerous shops, …)
  • A team of colleagues consisting of technical experts.
  • A collegial, safe working atmosphere in a large, stable and sustainable people-sized company.
  • Close guidance by a mentor
  • Opportunities for self-development through a large training offer.
  • Unique growth path to build hands-on experience and expertise in pumps and fans and rotating gears in general.

YOUR PROFILE:

As a junior technician, you will have a Bachelor's degree (Mechanics / Electromechanics). Specific knowledge of rotating equipment within an industrial process environment is an advantage but not essential. Excellent knowledge of MS Office is a must, knowledge of SAP is a strong asset.

You are a born leader who strongly believes in 'Lead by Example'. You have a strong safety and environmental awareness; you constantly ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues. Organizational strength, autonomy and communication are terms that describe your personality. Finally, you are willing to travel a maximum of 30% of your time.

You are fluent in English as well as in Dutch and/or in French.
