Working for our Industrial Cybersecurity Department
Our Industrial Cybersecurity department provides a broad range of services and solutions to the industry (in industrial control and process automation systems) over the whole system life cycle, enabling security improvement of industrial assets, operations and products.
Our Services and Solutions consist of a range of onsite and offsite cybersecurity assessments, participation in research programs, expert technical assistance and solution testing in our cybersecurity laboratory. For more information, please check https://cybersecurity.laborelec.com/
Context of the job
We are currently in the process of scaling up our Industrial Cybersecurity Team. In this context, we are looking for an Information Security Expert prepared to grow in the Industrial Cybersecurity field; supporting Laborelec in deploying a range of diverse security related services & solutions.
You will report to the manager Industrial Cybersecurity. You will be working with a team of highly skilled individuals based in several locations around the globe.
As an Information Security Expert
As an Information Security expert, you consult industrial plant operators, mainly in the energy sector, in implementing ISMS and IS controls in Germany and Europe. In doing so he/she should strive for good client relations and also develop further business opportunities in this field within our team.
You may be our future colleague if…
- You hold a university degree (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) in Automation Engineering or IT, ideally with focus on security
- You are passionate about cyber and information security, OT and IT networks
- You are knowledgeable and have implementation experience in ISMS and IS security measures, preferably in OT environment and industrial plants
- You have a good understanding of and experience in information security and related standards and best practices (like ISO27k, IEC62443, BDEW Whitepaper, NIST CSF, NERC CIP, etc.).
- You have knowledge in automation and/or IT-systems.
- You ideally have professional experience in audit management field, nonetheless also entrants with adequate experience are welcome
- You are fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus.
- You are a team player willing to work in a project & service culture
- Customer intimacy is your second nature
- You are able to deal with sensitive information with an appropriate level of confidentiality
- You are flexible and willing to work on missions abroad (max 5 to 6 days/ month in Germany)
- You can work autonomously
- You are eager to learn
- You are good communicator
