About the team
Our Emission Department’s mission is to increase the environmental performances of our customer assets. We support ENGIE’s ambitions to be the world leader in zero-carbon transition in its three core activities (electricity, natural gas and energy services). The department leads the development of Carbon Capture Use & Storage (CCUS) technologies within Engie and beyond. We are a leader in global solution provider in the NOx emissions reduction of the flue gases based on SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology.

What you’ll be doing
Your responsibilities as Project Manager for Emissions
As Project Manager Emissions your will lead projects are mainly focused on CCUS domain with development, engineering and R&D projects. You will also work on DeNOx projects.
- You will lead multi-disciplinary projects (mechanical, process, electrical, I&C, HSE, permitting…) mainly focused on CCUS domain with development, engineering and R&D projects. You are responsible and accountable for the success of these projects.
- Engineering projects are consisting in management, performance, support or review of activities such as: conceptual/basic/detailed design, (pre-)feasibility studies, preconstruction and construction engineering support, financial plans, contractual strategy, bid review, procurement management, licensing/permitting, EPC supervision and other typical owners engineering activities.
- You will work both on contents of the missions as well as on typical project management activities such as: planning, budget review, deliverables management, contract management, risks management and reporting
- You lead transversal project teams, composed of several internal or external members.
- You produce the required deliverables in accordance with time, cost, scope, quality and safety.
- You communicate the results towards the customer, together with implicated experts, making sure you meet all the customer expectations.
- Examples of CCUS projects : multidisciplinary engineering projects with CAPEX of 200-500M€ range. Typical activities:
- Pre-feasibility study - conceptual design and cost estimation, preliminary assessment of carbon capture integration, risk analysis…
- Feasibility study / basic engineering - act as owner’s engineer, development of block flow diagram, heat and mass balance, Balance of Plant, layout, consolidation OPEX/CAPEX, project development plan…
- Development of pilot installation for CO2 capture or CO2 valorization. Typical CAPEX ranges up to several M€.
- Project tendering: screening and selection of suppliers, specifications writing, support procurement on tender process, quotes assessment and selection.
- And in a latter phase, project execution: owner engineering mission, EPC/EPCM, hand-over to O&M, technical assistance

We are looking for a Project Manager strongly customer oriented, able to adapt his technical approach to the customer needs and willing to develop his expertise in CCUS and DeNOx domains
More concretely, you have:
- a civil or industrial engineer diploma
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in project management in engineering/industrial projects
- excellent communication skills. You are able to deliver complex messages into synthetic and powerful deliverables, both written and oral
- good negotiation skills
- a high level of ownership
- the will to involve your colleagues, give support, share information and you are not afraid to give and get constructive feedback
- strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch and/or French
