  • Oversee accurate data collection and reporting from smart meters, implementing quality control measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Complaints, and Billing teams to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Coach and develop your team through Personal Development Plans, regular skill assessments, cross-training opportunities, and a culture of ownership and accountability.

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven management experience within the energy sector, ideally in smart metering or a related operational function.
  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between onboarding and interfacing departments.
  • Working knowledge of industry codes and frameworks such as SEC, BSC, UNC, MRA, DCUSA, SMICOP, and Xoserve flows is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a track record of delivering accurate work within tight deadlines.
  • A practical, solution-oriented mindset with experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a non-technical understanding of software interfaces and incident resolution paths.
