General Overview:  

The Energy Supply division of ENGIE is responsible for providing, Energy Supply, Power Purchase and Demand Side Response (DSR) as part of delivering the transition to Zero Carbon for our customers across the UK. We work with a wide range of customers from many sectors including SME, manufacturing, industry, corporate, commercial, water, retail and transport. 

 

The Proposition Developer will support the Head of Product Development and wider Propositions

Team to develop the concepts, shape propositions and development within the Energy Supply Division which will support acquisition and retention of customers to deliver growth. With a clear focus on renewable propositions to support our zero carbon targets.

 

The role works with all the teams within Energy Supply Division to support the creation of strategies and product development roadmaps and delivery of new products and services. This means the role will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the division to ensure that we have products and services that can support growth within the UKBU.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the product development roadmap, ensuring plans are well defined and communicated, and measurable.
  • Good relationships within Energy Supply and with wider stakeholders especially subject matter experts.
  • Develop and deliver propositions that drive growth within ENGIE and are aligned with division, UK and group ambitions 
  • Create customer focused propositions utilising customer insight and customer experience indicators to support development 
  • Demonstrate tangible results in terms of product adoption by customers  
  • Development of full life-cycle product management 
  • Driving innovation and delivering new product / service offerings to the UK market 
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of product initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets, keeping key stakeholders aware of progress and highlighting matters for resolution as appropriate
  • Deciding target markets for relevant products through analytics, segmentation and insights   
  • Liaising internally to ensure products are developed, governed, launched, sold and managed effectively 
  • Working with the Head of Product Development, Senior Product Developer,  CCO  & CSO to review product development strategy including the assessment of disruptive threats / opportunities 
  • Commercial awareness of market dynamics, market evolution and of the competitive landscape
  • Develop product strategies from conception to implementation, aligned with customer needs
