About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Meter Asset Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting daily departmental operations and contributing to project-based initiatives.
In this position, you'll be responsible for executing core operational tasks such as reviewing gas flow management, coordinating siteworks and disconnections, and maintaining metering assets. You'll also support the achievement of industry targets related to the SMART and AMR Installation Programme. Strong analytical skills are essential, as you'll be working with data to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all processes.
This is a hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate will be based 2 days per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with our designated 3rd Parties on deployment for SMART/AMR Rollouts
- Supporting our frontline customer service to resolve queries in relation to Smart and Advanced meters
- Playing a main role in the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters, ensuring we comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business
- Administrative support for Gas siteworks; new connections, relocations, upgrades/downgrade, disconnections, OFMAT Tests etc
- Administrative duties surrounding Elec siteworks for new connections and changes to existing meters including energisation and de-energisation for electricity meters and disconnections
- Processing of RGMA Flows within Industry SLA, ensuring accuracy and efficiency is maintained to support Industry Performance
- Identifying inherited Smart/AMR meters and ensuring gain process is initiated to allow the meter to operate in SMART/AMR mode
- Monitoring, raising and tracking the resolution of meter and SMART/AMR faults across both Gas and Elec portfolios
Knowledge and skills:
- Strong numerical Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Microsoft Office Proficient (Previous Excel based experience)
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads, adhering to deadlines
- Practical approach to problem solving with a ‘right first time’ motive
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- General understanding of the Smart Metering Programme and the functionality of Smart and AMR Meters
Experience
- Experience within a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent) or above
- GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent) or above
