Role
Join our Energy Supply business and be a part of the energy transition! We are looking for a dynamic Research and Insight Manager to lead and develop key insights that drive business growth through enhanced customer and competitor understanding.
This is a Hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days a week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to make a difference in the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage customer and competitor insight projects, providing key recommendations to stakeholders for proposition development and positioning.
- Create new insight programmes to increase understanding of customers and competitors, and communicate key findings to the business.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their challenges and establish an insight-led approach to support problem solving and strategic planning.
- Deliver annual customer-focused research programmes, working with agencies to develop questionnaires and discussion guides, and ensure successful research fieldwork.
- Manage and report on key customer service research programmes (NPS, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Experience), driving engagement at the Executive level and across the business.
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Data Protection teams to ensure customer research programmes meet internal policies.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive experience in setting up and managing research projects from start to finish.
- Proven ability to communicate and engage insights across the business and at the Executive level.
- Excellent knowledge of the Energy Industry, with experience in developing models and tools to monitor market and competitor movements.
- Ability to make insight-led recommendations to the business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong data driven skills with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in a research and insight function.
- Experience in successfully launching new insight programmes to support business decision-making, preferably in B2B markets.
- Experience in managing a wide range of stakeholders.
- Educated to a degree level (or equivalent)
