  • Gain a full understanding of the read submission process for Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 reads to industry and be able to identify and resolve (either personally or through work allocation) industry rejection codes.
  • Ensure the receipt of, and monitor reports provided by Meter Asset Managers (especially National Gas Metering, Energy Assets and SMS but extending this to other significant MAMs) which highlight asset exceptions and ensure that exceptions are worked through allocating exceptions across Market Operations.
  • Take a lead role in identifying and assisting in the resolution of data discrepancies across ENGIE, Meter Asset Manager and Xoserve systems to enable settlement of meter reads.
  • Monitor the Class 1 and Class 2 estate to ensure that all AMR devices are dialing and (liaising with the rest of the Metering Assets team) ensure that faults are resolved in a timely fashion.
