Purpose of role
We are seeking a detail oriented Customer Reporting Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract basis until the end of December 2025. In this role you will support the delivery of customer-focused reporting by executing, maintaining, and enhancing automated reporting tools (macros), querying internal data sources, and producing both regular BAU and ad-hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner.
This is a hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office, where the successful candidate would be based two days per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and maintain Excel-based macros to generate regular and ad-hoc customer reports.
- Fix and enhance existing VBA scripts to ensure continued automation and accuracy of reporting processes.
- Produce and distribute regular BAU reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Extract and query data from internal systems using SQL or similar tools.
- Respond to customer data requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required.
- Adhere to internal data governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong Excel skills, including VBA/macros development and debugging
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
Experience
- Previous experience in a reporting, data, or MI role
- Experience working with customer-facing reporting or service delivery
- Proven ability to maintain and improve VBA-based automation
- Experience producing regular BAU reporting
- Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent)
- GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent)
- Degree level or equivalent desirable
