Debt Recoveries Administrator

What you will do
- Manage accounts through our internal debt recovery process
- Contact customers to collect payments and negotiate payment plans
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to reduce aged debt
- Actively manage allocated tickets and maintain data accuracy
- Handle the write-off process in line with delegated levels of authority
- Prepare legal packs and manage customers in insolvency and dissolution's
- Support the disconnections team with ticketing and telephony assistance
 
What you will bring to the role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational skills
- Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Skilled in verbal reasoning and managing conflicting priorities
- Capable of handling difficult customer interactions professionally
- A team player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Knowledgeable about the legal claims process/experienced in legal practice, insolvency administration, or debt recovery in a similar industry would be desirable
- Familiar with the energy industry is desirable
- GCSE or equivalent qualification specifically in Maths in English
