Your Mission

First mission: Finance & Back Office – GenAI Exploration & Prototyping

The Finance /Back Office Delivery Center builds and operates the tools used every day by Finance and Back Office teams across ENGIE Global Markets worldwide — from confirmations and margin calls to invoicing, regulatory reporting, accounting, payments, and business control. These activities rely on modern digital architectures running on Azure and AWS and process large volumes of financial and operational data.

As a young graduate, your mission will be to help identify, prototype, and demonstrate GenAI opportunities that improve productivity, data reliability, and user experience across these domains. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders and IT engineers to explore how AI models, agents, and modern integration patterns (including MCP servers) can simplify operations, automate complex workflows, or assist users in daily decision-making.

Your contribution will focus on rapid learning, experimentation, and delivering tangible results that can be assessed by business users.

What you will do:

  • Explore GenAI use cases with Finance and IT teams: understand their processes, challenges, and pain points to identify highvalue opportunities.
  • Prototype AIbased solutions using modern models, AI agents, finance datasets, and MCPenabled integrations.
  • Test and evaluate concepts with real users to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and validate feasibility.
  • Share results regularly through demos, notes, and short presentations to support decisionmaking and guide the next steps.

What you will learn:

  • Understanding of Finance/Back Office domains in a global energy trading environment.
  • Handson experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), datasets, and digital applications used in real operations.
  • Practical exposure to GenAI techniques: model prompting, agents, orchestration patterns, prototyping approaches.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to turn ideas into concrete, testable solutions.

Second mission: Digital & Data Accelerator

The Digital & Data Accelerator (DDA) is a team that develops high quality data products and digital solutions. The team builds the data pipelines, tools, and reference datasets that business teams use every day — from collecting fundamental market data to supporting forecasting models — ensuring they always have reliable, high-quality information to work with.
As a graduate joining the team, you will help develop and maintain these data products while contributing to new GenAI powered features to boost productivity and reliability. You will work closely with engineers and analysts to prototype, test, and industrialize AI driven improvements that make data processes faster, clearer, and easier to operate — always with real users and real operational impact in mind.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of high‑quality data products and digital solutions used daily by business teams.
  • Build and enhance data pipelines, tools, and reference datasets, ensuring reliability, clarity, and operational robustness.
  • Prototype, test, and help industrialize GenAI‑powered features that improve productivity, simplify workflows, and strengthen data quality.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and users to turn ideas into concrete, usable solutions with real operational impact.

What you will learn:

  • How a modern data platform supports ENGIE’s business operations through trusted datasets and robust pipelines.
  • Practical skills in data engineering, including pipeline development, data modelling, automation, and quality management.
  • Hands‑on exposure to GenAI techniques applied to real data: prompting, agents, integration patterns, and AI‑driven process optimization.
  • Best practices for working with multidisciplinary teams and delivering user‑centric, high‑impact digital solutions in a global energy context.

What profile we are looking for

  •  Master's degree in engineering, Business, Management or a similar field.
  • Young graduate or maximum  years of experience as a Junior.
  • Strong interest in energy markets, IT, management risk and financial market.
  • Eager to learn new skills, culture & ready to be trained.
  • You are fluent in English and additional languages are a plus.
  • Proactive, reliable and results oriented.
  • Collaboration & sense of priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Long-term interest in building a career in a strategic, international environment.

At ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition. Make a difference and enjoy a fulfilling professional experience. Take on exciting challenges and build a career path that reflects who you are.

Join us and be part of the adventure of the century!
