You will be part of the Risk Analytics team (10 people) responsible for Market & Counterparty Risk monitoring and advisory of the S&EM (International Supply and Energy Management) Global Business Unit of ENGIE and its regulated entity EGM (Engie Global Markets).

We work closely with stakeholders across trading, risk, and IT to ensure our systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Our expertise spans the development, enhancement, and validation of risk models, systems, and processes.

We are looking for a highly motivated Risk Analytics Engineer to join our growing team.

You will contribute both to risk analysis activities and to the design of the next generation of Risk Analytics tools and processes. You will have significant autonomy to identify improvement opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and industrialize risk processes.

What You Will Do:

• Analyze and monitor market and counterparty risk metrics.
• Contribute to the calculation and review of reserves and valuation adjustments.
• Develop Python solutions to automate and improve risk processes.
• Build monitoring and data quality tools to strengthen risk controls.
• Work with Risk, Quant and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, data and analytics.

Profil professionnel recherché

Education

Master's degree in Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

Skills & Experience

0–3 years of experience in Market Risk, Quantitative Risk, Risk Modelling or Regulatory Capital.

Strong Python programming skills and passion for automation.

Good understanding of risk metrics, derivatives and financial markets.

Experience working with data and analytical tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Personal Attributes

Autonomous, curious and proactive.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Passion for using data and technology to improve risk management processes.
